Meet Henric Aryee From Glimeria Studios

At the pitch competition held at Invest in Games each year, the winner gets to go to the following Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. This year it’s Henric Aryee and Adam Nycander from the newly founded studio Glimeria Studios going. 

Henric was the one pitching so we asked him a few questions before he is heading out west. He is a Swedish-Ghanan illustrator and graphic designer based Sweden. Internationally known with fans like Mike Tyson and the illustrator behind the popular children books Karma & Jonar that was made into an tv-series and now: a game.  

Can you tell us more about Glimeria Studios? 

Glimeria Studios was founded in 2024 by myself Henric Aryee and cofounder Adam Nycander, with the goal of turning the Karma & Jonar universe into an immersive and interactive experience. Karma & Jonar is a bestselling children’s book and tv-series. In the future Glimeria Studios aims to produce narrative driven games with positive values.

When can we expect a release of the game?  

We are projecting a release in Q3 2026.

What are you most looking forward to going to GDC? 

We are most looking forward to connecting with the best of the best in the gaming industry, as well as seeing the amazing city of San Francisco!
